Service in the United States Army

John has served in all three components of the US Army (active, reserve, and national guard) and all levels from Company Command, Battalion Command, Division Staff, and is currently a Deputy Division Chief at HQDA. He’s a recipient of the “Bronze Star”, awarded in 2011 while deployed in Afghanistan, and the Meritorious Service Medal (with Oak Leaf Cluster). He’s a graduate of the US Army War College, Carlisle PA.
